Alastor Mad-Eye Moody is a former Auror and is hired by Albus Dumbledore as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in the fourth school year. He has already sent many Death Eaters to Azkaban, but had to sacrifice a leg, his eye, and part of his nose for it. Now he wears a wooden leg, is covered in scars, and has a magical eye with which he monitors his entire surroundings. He is considered indestructible and sees danger everywhere, which sometimes seems almost paranoid. However, for the purposes of the Order of the Phoenix, of which he is a member, this has definite advantages.
Mad-Eye's wand is long and thick (thickest part of the wand approx. 2 cm, ball on the handle approx. 3 cm) and correspondingly heavy. It has the texture of rough tree bark and is dark brown. In front of the handle are two silver-colored decorative edges. The handle itself is less textured but wavy. It looks like a gnarled old tree. At the end of the handle is a ball that fits wonderfully in the palm of your hand.
The official Warner Bros. license imprint is located on the upper part. The wand comes in a collector's box, which is lined with velvet-covered plastic on the inside.
