Some memories fit on a blister card: Super7 from San Francisco builds action figures the way they used to hang on the toy store shelf – retro look, vintage packaging, and cult licenses from the Turtles to Godzilla. With the ReAction and Ultimates lines, the manufacturer brings back collector's nostalgia, just with a lot more attention to detail.

Super7 was founded in San Francisco – the name comes from the founder's passion for Japanese vintage toys and tokusatsu heroes. What made the manufacturer famous was the ReAction line: action figures in the classic format of the late seventies, complete with blister card and deliberately reduced articulation, as if they'd come fresh out of a time capsule. The Ultimates line takes the opposite approach – larger, elaborately articulated deluxe figures with plenty of accessories. In between, soft vinyl figures and vehicle replicas round out the program.
The license list reads like a Saturday morning in front of the tube TV: among the action figures, Shredder, Splinter, and Casey Jones line up for Ultimates roll call, joined by G.I. Joe veterans and monsters from the house of Godzilla. Softer candidates like the Sesame Street soft vinyl figures are found among the figures. Nostalgia in waves – quite literally, since that's exactly how Super7 releases its figures.

What did toys feel like when they still hung on a spinner rack? Super7 has been answering that question with remarkable consistency for years. The San Francisco manufacturer specializes in collectible figures that revive the aesthetic of toy decades past – best known is the ReAction line in the compact retro format of the late seventies, complete with blister card and vintage-style artwork. At the other end stands the Ultimates line: large, extensively articulated deluxe action figures with swappable hands, weapons, and accessories for the fully grown collection. In between, soft vinyl figures, vehicles, and puzzles round out the range. At Elbenwald you'll find a selection of official Super7 products across license worlds – from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to G.I. Joe to Sesame Street.
The seriousness with which it treats old heroes. Super7 treats Saturday-morning cartoons, kaiju films, and music icons as exactly what they are for their fans: cultural heritage. That shows in details like true-to-life head sculpts, packaging designed to be opened up like a display, and wave releases that let collections grow predictably. At the same time, the license selection is delightfully eclectic – where else do Shredder, Cookie Monster, and Godzilla share the same catalog? The ReAction line thrives on the charm of restraint: few joints, clear poses, maximum recognition value. The Ultimates line delivers the counterprogram for anyone who wants to display their childhood heroes in museum quality. Accessory range and size are listed on the respective product page.
Official collectible figures from the ReAction, Ultimates, and Soft Vinyl lines, as well as vehicles and puzzles – with licenses from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to G.I. Joe and Godzilla to Sesame Street. Use the filters to narrow the range.
A San Francisco manufacturer specializing in licensed collectible figures in a retro style. It's known above all for the ReAction line in vintage format and the deluxe Ultimates line with extensive accessories.
ReAction figures are compact, simply articulated, and modeled on the toy aesthetic of the late seventies. Ultimates figures are considerably larger, extensively articulated, and come with swappable parts and accessories – designed for collectors who value a high level of detail.
The core of the range is the action figures: Ultimates waves centered on the Turtles, ReAction classics from Peanuts to kaiju, and military nostalgia for the G.I. Joe collection. Softer and quirkier pieces – such as soft vinyl figures from Sesame Street – gather in the general figures department, while large-scale projects like vehicle replicas sit among the replicas. And if you need to keep your hands busy between two waves, reach for a puzzle.
The license worlds invite further browsing: Godzilla stomps through its own category, G.I. Joe holds the line, and retro muscle awaits at Masters of the Universe and Thundercats. Transformation artists park at Transformers – Saturday morning feeling guaranteed, cereal not included.
